110 new languages added. The Google Translate app uses PaLM 2 large language model to add 110 new languages to Google Translate, including Cantonese, NKo and Tamazight, supporting more than 614 million speakers. This update provides service for more users accounting for 8% of the world’s population.

User Feedback

Unsatisfying photo translation: some users reported the app cannot connect sentences in different lines. The selecting function doesn't work well either.

Good translation quality: Google Translate provides high-quality translated texts of languages difficult to translate.

Imperfect UI: some users say they feel confused when trying to find the function and button they need.

Why does this app tell me to check my internet connection? If your Internet connection has no problem, please restart the app. If that doesn’t work, restart your device and see whether the notification will appear again.
