Latest Update: Roll out new teen safety features.

Pinterest introduces a series of new safety features aimed at better protecting teens using its service. Users ages 16 and older will now be able to opt into either a private or public profile. If they choose to go private, they can still network with friends by sending a unique link that allows them to connect. These private profiles, which remain the default for users under the age of 16, are not discoverable by others on the platform.

Latest Update: Shoppable Pins

With the aim of improving the shopping experience for users, Pinterest is partnering with the e-commerce platform WooCommerce to roll out a new feature that allows users to turn product catalogs into shoppable Pins. The feature can let retailers convert all of their product catalogs into Shoppable Pins, regardless of what types of products they sell. The app can also automatically update product details, including pricing and availability and more.

Pinterest uses a way of waterfall stream to show pictures so users don’t need to open a new page to see the next content. Pinterest is called the picture version of Twitter, you can save the photo, like the photo and forward it to your own account.
