The Wyze app is a smart home control app

The Wyze app connects users’ home to their mobile devices, allowing them to craft the ideal smart home for their family. The Wyze app is the home for all kinds of Wyze devices. From Wyze Cam to Wyze Thermostat, users can manage all their Wyze devices from their phone as long as the devices are connected to the app.

Users can control their Wyze devices from anywhere in the world by using the app, for example, they can use their Wyze Cam to live stream 1080p full HD video and talk through the built-in speaker and microphone by using the app. Users can also discover featured videos captured by the Wyze community or shop for Wyze products directly within the app.

Latest Update: Home monitoring prices to be increased

Wyze is doubling the cost of its 24/7 professional monitoring service for its home security system. From April 6th, new subscribers will pay $9.99 per month for the home monitoring service, while current subscribers and those who sign up before the deadline will still keep the current $4.99-a-month rate. With the price increase, Wyze is also offering more features, including Cam Plus license, person detection, 12-second cloud-based motion event recordings and more.

Discover: The Discover tab is a place for the community to share funny content captured on their Wyze Cam.

Shop: The shop tab allows users to purchase Wyze products directly through the in-app Wyze Shop and have all orders automatically connected to their Wyze account.

Share: Users can share access to their devices with their friends and family via the Wyze app.

Events: The event page stores Event Videos, 12-second clips triggered by motion or sound, for users to review.

Notifications: The notification system allows users to get instant alerts when motion or sound is detected. Users can choose to turn on or off device notifications.

How many products can be set up on the Wyze app?

Every smart product from Wyze has a home in the Wyze app. There is no limit to the number of Wyze products that can be set up on the Wyze app, but the Wyze app is only compatible with Wyze products.
